Philosophy
The faculty is established to educate and train students in the science and practice of pharmacy and contribute positively to expanding the knowledge of the profession through research, scholarship and provision of quality service to the society.

Aims and Objectives

  • To provide a sound education and training, both theoretical and practical, tin the pharmaceutical sciences, veterinary pharmacy, and clinical pharmacy administration such that graduates have up-t0-date knowledge of the subject matter.
  • To produce graduates with suitably developed intellect to enable them to appreciate and apply the knowledge of arts, science and technology of the pharmacy profession.

General Requirements

To be considered for admission into the first degree programme, candidates should

1. Have five credit pass in not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations;

  • General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level Examination
  • West African School Certificate Examination (WASCE),
  • National Examination Council (NECO),
  • National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) or their equivalents

2. Obtain the minimum cut-off score in UME conducted by JAMB

3. Meet the various departmental registration requirements
